Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

In emulator versions dolphin Beta versions 5.0-18498 y Development versions 5.0-19129 it doesn't read wii dvds and I investigated and I realized that only up to version 5.0-17995-x64 does it read dvds  why does this happen?

Dolphin never had the ability to load Wii or GameCube discs directly, only DVD Backups (copies on DVD+-R media). However we have since removed the ability to boot from dvd backups for many reasons we have outlined here: https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2023/02/12/...-mayimilae
