I have SVN R 6225. Also got this black screen right after intro issue. Still not solved?
Hey! Anybody on my problem? Is there anyone who could reach the end with Dolphin emu? What to do if it constantly hangs after the mad gunshop keeper?
Update: I get black screen on BOTH versions, just checked. Nothing seems to work. Looks like it's the problem of this certain 6225 build?

I just run into this problem (using official Dolphin 2.0) and got the black screen after the mad gunshop keeper. But then I replayed from the last emulated "memory card" save and as soon as I had to exit the "incriminated" door of the shop I saved with the emulator option (savestate) because I thought I would have to try and see tousend of possible combinations with the emulator...in fact I didn't try anything because everything went fine and I passed this situation and heded back directly to HQ...I reloaded the save (obviously after saving on the emulated "memory card") state and tryed again and again everything was fine...so it must be a random crash but with some patience you should come through it.

Interesting. I'm gonna try. So when did you save? At the blank screen, or just before that at the radio conversation? It's not so random. I've tried it with 5 different SVNs for at least 6-8 times. It's always the same.

I've tried it. I made a save state after defeating fatso and during the radio chat. It was unnecessary because the game continued right the first time I tried. Strange. Maybe it has something to do with the save state itself, or running the game in window mode. It wouldn't be the first issue of this kind.
