(01-08-2010, 12:02 PM)CacoFFF Wrote: [ -> ]Of course, you would need to be able to compile the source code.

Because .patch files modify the source code so you don't have to write those changes by yourself.
That or you wait for someone else to upload a fixed (compiled) revision.
I've downloaded the patch but I don't have any c compiler installed in my computer, and don't have the source code so I can re-compile all, can't you publish a compiled revision with your patch so we can test it? it looks good, specially to make easier to set up using different pad plugins for different players.

But still my question remains... why everything works good with revision 4525 and the newest 4771 and now it stopped working!?!?!?!?, and most important, why we are just a few with this issue? can I mend it without recompile the whole thing?

Thanks for your answer, and thanks to all Dolphin makers (I've already said this but I'm very impressed with this project, congratulations and thanks!!!)

I hope someone will solve this for the next revs!
Should be solved in last rev.
Thanks CacoFFF, but the last revs didn't solve my problem (the last I've tried is 4797).

If this is of any help, I've found a workaround for this: I have several partitions in my hard drive, one of them is clean with nothing on it, except for windows XP SP3 and DeepFreeze program, which leaves the partition clean after each reboot (it erases anything that you have installed and leave the partition with windows as just installed).

I've tried new versions in this clean partition and everything worked ok; I went furter and started to try a "lot" of different versions and everything worked fine. Then I begun to try in my "regular" partition (not the clean one) and I've found that, in the "regular" partition "official" builds (4771, 4525, 4460 and 3972 I havn't tried other official builds) works well, they detect all the plugins and everything is normal, BUT any unofficial compilation have this issue, no matter if it is prior to 4771 or post 4771, all that i've tried, don't recognize the (in my case) Wiimote plugin.

So, I think that, beside there might be something wrong in my regular partition, there must be something in the official compilations that unofficial ones are missing, may be a path name or something, I don't know. If the problem were only mine, the official builds I've mencioned shouldn´t work either, but they work fine.

Hope this little data helps in something to the developers.

Try a more current SVN rev
we are at R4815 atm......
I had the same issue and solved it by installing the directx_aug2009_redist.exe over my DX install.

I also updated the Dolphin install with latest build.

Hope this help

Thanks for your response, I've already done that, but I'll try downlading again from the very same link that you sent in your post, and I'll give a try to the 4815 rev as defiancenl suggested.

I'll try all this tonight (it's 10:00 am here in my country) and I'll inform what happened in case that someone else have the same problem
4878 is today's latest build Smile

Thanks a lot. I'm on vacations right now and far away from my home computer (here in my country now It's summer time), so I'll give it a try as soon as I'm back at home.

cheers
