with rumours flying everywhere and various promising showcases by the big three Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft what do you look forward to and what do you fear could happen in the next gen of consoles.
Im looking forward to the advancement of motion controls that began with the wii and is being apparently being taken further by natal
Im not looking forward to the possible fusion of the three current consoles into a future WiiS360 as each individual company tries to achieve what the other already has done. Microsoft and Sony Motion Controls, Nintendo High Definition Graphics which would mean that each new console would essentially be the same as each other with their only distinguishing feature being their first party games
I'm waiting for an expansion module that will allow you to play Xbox 360 games on PS3...
now that is a dream that might never be realised but you can do that anyway a lot of the games on 360 are on PS3 as well

I'm thinking microsoft/sony side are gonna finally make the first pure pc-console fusion. I mean both have been adding all these computer features such as web surfing, etc etc and offcourse early ps3's had ability for linux. Thinking we to a point where you gonna see. Microsoft office: 720 edition 2011 with some weird offset windows looking gui OS. I mean we almost to that point where its gonna be hard to realize what is a PC and what is a console.
Nintendo side.
Finally decide to release a graphically intensive hardware that is not a generation behind but also somehow keep its price down. Perfect the online gaming side of there system, incorporate more motion control features but also remember to utilize basic controls like that of the classic controller on more games.
All in all though I think we a good bit away from a new system. Thinking all three are content where they are right now. I had a feeling microsoft might release some details on a new system but I think its all gonna be a year of talking about "Natal" and releasing it with games specific for it.
