By exiting, I mean just closing the emulation window. (Or on a real Wii, pressing the power button.)

Can we access Wii Shop Channel within Dolphin? I would like to buy some other games during the Black Friday deals. But I recall seeing this Nintendo Support: Wii Shop Channel Discontinuation that it's no longer available.

Wii Shop Channel has been shut down years ago. Nowadays you can only redownload things you've purchased before it was closed...

Yep. Also, the Wii Shop Channel never had any Black Friday deals back when it still sold games.

The Wii Shop Channel does run in Dolphin, but that's kind of useless if you haven't already bought the games.
