Im using the hiding tool and didnt have any problem. But sometimes when you sync the wiimote with dolphin and was previously paired with other software, could get unhided.
BTW, tried opentrack with wiimotehook and worked fine. Wiimotehook is just an exe, which pair any wiimote, doesnt need any specific BT stack like bluesoleil. Just works with Windows BT stack. The only limitation, I think Windows BT stack doesnt support generic wiimotes.
