Hi there, many thanks to the emulator that I could finally pick up this childhood game and finish it. However, after certain stages, I can't go back to "Home" and upgrade my weapons. The game would go into black screen. Loading a saved state could get me out of there, but again, just can't go back "home." I am using the latest development version 5.0-16979. Have tried the beta 16973 too.
If I try to play the game using the stable version, a warning popup would say, "unknown entry type 6 in SYSCONF (IPL.TID@1823)!" Once press ok, it would say, "Trying to read from invalid SYSCONF" for five times.

Just realized how to fix this possibly. Don't load the state upon entering the game. Wait for the game to fully go back into the map in normal procedure, then "Home" can be revisited again. Just don't rush. Purchased all the upgrades except for the bomb.
