same, my card supports opencl no problem but the option is grayed out. also noticed that if you check HLE on IPL, then close dolphin and reopen, its back to being unchecked

Just go read the change log...
The option ONLY can choose when the build has compile with OpenCL SDK.
And mamario is only compile standard build.
Without any optimize, without OpenCL.
So, It is normal that you see it grayed.

It would only be a stupid question if you assume everyone relies on COMMENTS for their information, since the log post itself only says "Add a toggle option for OpenCL in Config (in Advanced Settings). Default is off. ". Actually, even after looking at the comments on the log, the VERY first reply was "Comment by Crow132, Today (12 hours ago)
Do this mean that from now on all relases will be compiled with opencl?" and only then after this reply did the original poster inform that it was REQUIRED to be compiled with the optimization inorder for the check box to be usuable.

A simple answer for a simple question was all that was required

I wish that there was an automatic opencl intel c++ sse4.2 compiler XD

Why didn't you compile the 5773 revision ?

I downloaded the latest r5775 x64, but it says r5774 when i started it.

That's a common bug, I think you'll probably find it is infact r5775, despite the r5774 label.

I have a question on it. how do you net play on it? like how do people join and such.

32-bit build is failing since either the 5579 or 5580 commit. I don't need it, just pointing it out
