Ay, i'm one of the Devs of Riibalanced and noticed that lines like {$_region},{$_gameid} or {$_maker} don't actually work on dolphin.

What do these do you may ask, these lines check your Game's region via letters at the end of the file name (like MainP.dol or StaticRJ.rel) and automatically select the file to patch

Example: If you're playing on an US disk riivolution will automatically replace the file specified for your region, useful for DOL or StaticR patching or generally the same files that are different between regions.

these lines will straight up do nothing on Dolphin. This is a big problem for mod creators that want to make the XML region-free.

Could anyone develop a DEV Build of Dolphin that fixes this problem? Thanks.

Can you post a file that doesn't work? I'm pretty sure I tested this.

Wait, are you actually using {$_region}/{$_gameid}/{$_maker} with a single underscore? The documentation says two underscores, so {$__region}/{$__gameid}/{$__maker}.

My bad, i forgot to add the two _ in the post. altough, the xml has the 2 underscores but still doesn't work. XML in question

it's right but annoying to select the right xml everytime. i attached the new txt (to then convert in xml) with the "region free" lines

Once again there is no file attached. I'm also not sure what you mean -- the file you previously posted already had the ${__region} in the XML.

And that's why it doesn't work. It has the {$__region} line in the XML. On real hardware this **WORKS PERFECTLY** meanwhile not on Dolphin.
