Yesterday I used NetPlay to play SSBB online with my friend.
However, when I first started the game after hosting the NetPlat session, the game told me to make a new savefile, as no save files were found.
I made the new save file, and the NetPlay worked perfectly, however now when I start the game, my old save is no longer there, only the save file that I made when using NetPlay.

It seems like the "data" folder with the save file was overwritten, is there any way of getting my old save back, or did I mess up?

When in the Netplay window, make sure saving is enabled under Data.

Write save data and sync saves are enabled by default. Do you know if this is the reason that my initial save file was overwritten with the NetPLay save file?
