I don't think it has been worked on since 2017.
i have been waiting for this for many years!
is it also possible to start only a gba game or add them to the game list?

Does anyone know what the pad type for the new controller is? I'd like to edit the GameINI settings to auto launch the integrated GBAs. It works fine if I select the option manually.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Nevermind. It's 13. I was looking at the wrong part of the Dolphin.ini file. Blush
Thank you to everyone who worked on this. Netplay and input recording were two features I had wanted for Four Swords and Final Fantasy, but didn't expect to see.
This is absolutely fantastic and brought a tear of joy to my eye. My friends and I used to get together to play TLoZ:Four Swords and FF:Crystal Chronicles all the time (back in the day). My thanks goes out to everyone involved over the years. The last time I tried to relive those experiences a few years ago with Dolphin + VBA-M, it resulted in multiple crashes and disappointment. Can't wait to get this set up and give it another go!

Edit: Just wanted to add, obscure functionality like this is some of my favorite things to be emulated. It's the closest thing we will ever have to preserving this for future generations.
Yeah, I agree. One of the reasons I felt so strongly about writing this article is that this feature is near and dear to my heart. I wanted this article to be a celebration of all the people who have put their time into making this a reality over the past decade and change.

In terms of how impressed/surprised I am that this happened, this one is right up there with Ubershaders.
Uh... Sorry... I'm lazy and I wanted to try the Tingle thing with my personal copy of Wind Waker, but I never tried emulating a GBA. What's that BIOS thing? Do I need a BIOS? Is there a open source bios or do I need to buy a GBA and dump the bios myself? I'm a bit surprised and annoyed.

Anyone can help? Thanks and sorry for being a bit rude. I wasn't expecting this when using Dolphin.

EDIT: Oh... So I *need* a legit BIOS, according to https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-ga...t=gba_bios.

I think you should have included that information somewhere.

I was so happy about this, but now I'm super disappointed.
this is a really useful guid.

If you don't like that the GBA BIOS is required and there's no HLE solution, you could reverse engineer the functionality yourself or donate to someone else who has the expertise.
