I wasn't much into Dolphin at first but they really improved alot. I remember trying to play melee with dolphin and i had to load up bios of "GCoS" i believe and other things. But now, Dolphin has gotten better from the understanding Developers. Thanks.

Mm....My favorite update was when they fixed SSBB NTSC and made it playable.
I've just now gotten into Dolphin, so i dunno what has really improved lately. Great emulator though! Very fast too, considering how powerful GC/Wii is.
I'd like to see more emphasis on Gamecube emulation in the future. It seems wii is the priority lately, yet the best games the emulator can play tend to be on GC most of the time (IMO). I hope to see games like Starfox Adventures fully playable soon!

When the Direct x plugin started working again.
You may or may not have been present during that period, but there was an extended time frank when the Dx plugin was broken.(For approximately 5 months) I forgot who fixed it.
@Topic. Idk what to say, there is too many fixes to mention. Lets give the devs one more round of applause.

Hm...for me...I'd like to see the multiple wiimotes really work...real ones, not emulated...but that doesn't seem far away...
Other than that, maybe a sorting (+ saving) function for the dolphin game browser *g*

as for my favorite update, too many to mention. dx9 plugin, gamepad button mapping for wiimote, multiple wiimotes, sound in zelda games (and many others), what can i say, theyre all good!
i would like to see games like Metroid prime trilogy working the way they where meant to without having to swap .dol files as soon as that happens im definitely dumping mine
