So I wanted to have an animated pfp, like one person i saw replying on the forums.
How do you do that?
I already tried putting a gif, doesn't look like it's working.

It can also work with a direct link, it doesn't have to be an attachment.

For profile pic/avatar :-
The maximum file size for avatars is 100 KB.
If your GIF is greater than 100 KB then it probably won’t appear as GIF, but as a stationary image.

how do I use this exactly? I tried entering the url, didn't work
I guess you are trying to use it as your avatar? Well, it will probably need to be in GIF format, which your avatar currently is. But it isn't animating even when viewed in isolation, so whatever you did to convert it probably failed.
