All documentation is old for wine running dolphin.
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=8021
Using old revs ^^^

and their forums have nothing recent to suggest that the emulation is up to date...

Just try the link to the binaries I posted, unzip them either with some graphical tool or with tar -xjf filename.tar.bz2, go to the new directory and run ./Dolphin there. That way you won't need to compile Dolphin manually...

What are you talking about? What's that appdb link for?

Also, I don't see what's so funny about my post, care to elaborate?
Well, the download link you gave me almost worked, i downloaded, unzipped it, and ran it. the first time, i tried to load a game, and the fps dropped to 0. Every time i try to open Dolphin after that, it instantly crashes, even if I reinstall it.
I have no clue why its doing that, but its driving me insane.
ok, i got it to work using the software render plugin, but fps it about 3. im going to check if i have open gl installed afterall.
ok so i do have open gl installed, it comes with the ati catylist controll center.

Ok sorry, I misinterpreted the ^^ as laughing Big Grin

Wiibrewer: Not sure what's wrong, but try a revision around 4700... Newer ones might be a bit buggy on Linux.

Default settings should work well though (or at least shouldn't run at 0 FPS), I just read you're running Dolphin on a Laptop, that's not got an intel integrated gfx card by accident, does it? Those type of graphics cards aren't supported well with Dolphin (not with the OpenGL plugin), so you'd be out of luck in this case Sad
No, ive got an ATI Raedon HD 4200 with 3 gb of ram and Amd athelon ii m320 duo.
And i do have drivers for my graphics card. I'll try an older revision.
