Universal Dynamic Input
This is a custom button package for Dolphin. It uses
Dynamic Input Textures to create custom buttons in
real time.
Unlike traditional button packs, you can change the control settings at
any time,
the in-game buttons are automatically updated to match the controller and setting you're using.
Another advantage is that there are no problems with other texture packs.
Take a look at this
Dolphin progress report for more info.
Installation
you need Dolphin 5.0-15214 or newer and at least one Supported
Input Device and
Game.
- Place the DynamicInputTextures folder into Dolphin's Load directory,
- Windows: `%UserName%\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load` in **Portable mode** `\User\Load`.
- Linux: `~/.dolphin-emu/Load` or `~/.local/share/dolphin-emu/Load` depending on your system.
- MacOS: `~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Load`.
- Open Dolphin, enter Graphics > Advanced tab > Check Load Custom Textures.
- As soon as you start a supported game, Dolphin will generate and load the new button textures.
If you have any problems take a look at our troubleshooting guide.

Calling this "universal' when it supports 32 games out of over 3000 raises an eyebrow for me, but I'm very happy to see a big multi-game dynamic input texture pack!
that's right, at least the goal is to support as many games as possible, and all beginnings are small. Making the packs is also relatively quick.
With the last 2 updates I have added 28 new games and
the controller graphics of DualShock4, Joy-Con and Pro Controller have been adjusted.

Wow, nice work Venomalia! I'll have to give this a whirl.
I don't have any updates on 2.0 yet (trying to tie up some other loose ends, so it might be a bit longer) but really happy to see this coming along. keep up the good work!!
And again a small update with 21 games, now there are 82 supported games.

Having problems using DS4Windows (v.3.0.4)
Testing MP6
DS4Windows updated recently, maybe that's why its not finding the right textures. Any ideas what could be?
yes, apparently the device name has changed to DSUClient/0/DS4Windows so far it only recognises DSUClient/0/DualShock4.
I will fix this right now.

As of
5.0-12412, the DSUClient name is based off what the user puts in the description in the settings. I think it's ok if you tell people what name you support. It's up to them to specify the appropriate name.
It's formatted like this:
DSUClient/<port>/<description name>
Good to know, so the DSU units must be named correctly here.

so
DiBurkle please use the name "
DualShock4" or "
BetterJoy" for switch controller
