Many many years ago I had save data corrupt on my gamecube memory card for smash. I hated the idea of losing it because it had all the exact dates and times of when I unlocked characters, trophies, etc.  Kinda of like achievement time stamps long before achievements existed.  I didn't format it and put the memory card in a drawer hoping one day I could find a way to fix it.  I was going to unearth it now but realized that I already did back in 2013.  I don't even remember how but I have all those saves from different games on my PC.

The file itself is still corrupted, when I try to paste it in dolphin it asks to reformat.  So since I have the file, does anyone have an idea how I can restore it to work properly?
Can you post the file(s) you have? Not promising anything; depending on what is 'corrupted' here this may either be very easy to fix or be actually impossible, but without the actual data that is hard to tell.
I tried to upload it when I made the post but I get a message saying "The type of file that you attached is not allowed. Please remove the attachment or choose a different type."

It is a GCI so I'm not sure what the problem is. Is there another way I should be uploading it?
Hm, that's annoying... Maybe you can bypass the restriction by putting it inside a zip file.
If you have a dump of the full card (for example, made with gcmm's "raw backup" mode) that could also be useful, depending on what is broken.
Ok I just edited the post and uploaded the zip will all the saves that were corrupted from that card. If others are salvageable that's cool but the smash save is the main one I'm looking for.

Also not sure if the file will show up right away or if the mods need to approve it first.

Sorry, but there doesn't seem to be any file waiting in the moderator queue.
I can see it attached up top now.
You, uh, uploaded a dumping tool, not a save file or a memory card.
Sorry, it appears I'm retarded.

Proper zip uploaded.
