Full Version: Dolphin - crashing when using custom textures and RAM pre-fetch

OS: Win 10 x64
GPU: Radeon 5700XT
Radeon Driver: 21.2.3 (latest version)
RAM: 64GB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

Steps to reproduce issue:
1. Download Zelda 64 UHD V5.1 texture pack,
2. install following instructions - enable custom textures and prefetch within Configuration/Advanced
3. Launch Zelda Collector's edition from Dolphin, launch MM or OoT within the in-game menu (with the UHD 5.1 texture pack properly installed and loading)
4. Esc out of the game to stop emulation at any point after playing the game for a few seconds or minutes
5. Re-launch game again - freeze should happen soon after the Nintendo logo loads, when the prefetch operation starts loading in the custom textures - only a system restart will get things back up and running properly again, or disabling custom textures prefetch within Dolphin. Otherwise the crash will happen any time the game is launched.

Graphics backend - doesn't seem to matter, this issue happens with Vulkan/D3D12, etc. I am using the CPU overclock set to 200%, but this setting doesn't seem to matter. Crash happens whether it's on or off.

If custom textures prefetch is not used (Options > Graphics > Advanced > Prefetch Custom Textures), Dolphin runs very well and is stable. The bottom line is this...the Prefetch Custom Textures option seems to work fine the FIRST time the game is launched. After exiting the game however, when re-launching the game w/custom textures and Prefetching enabled, Dolphin crashes. Unchecking this option seems to be the workaround. I don't really notice any performance gains when Prefetching textures is ON anyway, performance seems the same whether that option is on or off. Stability however is an issue with Prefetch ON.
