Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hello readers

I've been using dolphin for about a month now and it worked just fine for me.
But now all of a sudden when I'm trying to use dolphin the same way I always do, it can't find the pad plugin anymore (the error which mentions padsimple.dll)
(yes, I already updated everything again via links given in a post by omegadox, but when I used the Microsoft DirectX Updater it always says I have an equal or the best available and installing isn't necessary).
And well, I didn't change anything in the plugin folder or anything, never touched any folders even :)..
So.. I'd appreciate some help with this, thank you very much!

I had the same issue as you, and used that to update. Works when you manage to get it to install.

Thanks for the fast reply, but that was the same updater I tried before :D
Oddly enough, I now restarted my pc a couple of times and the pad plugin returned magically somehow, so problem solved I guess, it sometimes dissapears and reappears somehow but that's acceptable
