I'm not sure if my settings arent sticking properly or what, but I have tried with both openGL and directX11, The resolution upscale works fine, though openGL stuttered once so I think I'll stick with directX. To me it doesnt look like the aliasing or the picture are sharp enough. I tried playing with the widescreen hack as I've seen a video with it running and thought I'd give it a shot, but it doesnt seem to work. Any advice on perfect settings would be appreciated.
You should be fine assuming no crazy ir setting.
In general for NVIDIA cards direct x 11/12 with async ubershader on is the idea setting for most cases. The checkmark setting for compile shader before start will help also.

I'm not seeing any of those options you mentioned.

You're using Dolphin 5.0 stable, right? In that case, you'll have to update to a newer version in order to have access to those options.

I thought I might.  Which one should I be grabbing though, the beta or the developer?  I'm guessing beta?

Either works, but if you don't know which one to go with, I would say pick the beta version.

With this beta version its certainly sharper, which I'm sure is the FXAA option, something I dont get on the stable 5.0 version.  Two strange things with this one..  On and top and bottom of the screen are a pair of purple bars.  But that only appears during videos like of intro logos or ingame cinematics.  Changing to dx11 didnt do anything.  I removed the compile option as the game was taking ages to load up and performance was the same with it off.   Also widescreen hack doesnt seem to be activating either.

You can fix this by turning off Store XFB Copies to Texture Only. This will lower the performance, though.

That fixed it thanks.  Still geetting solid 60fps so no loss.  Any idea on the widescreen hack not activating?
You can use the graphic setting to force 16:9. If it want it per games here a guide for game ini in dolphin.
