What am I doing wrong here?

I am on windows 10. I bought this off of ebay: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/K0QAAOSwi~JdLpTD/s-l1600.jpg

I am trying to connect this to my PC.

I tried this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EGjlIkuqy4

Could not get it detected via blue tooth. It detects my phone so my PC definitely does blue tooth.

Then I uninstalled those drivers cause I saw that according to this: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Configuring_Controllers#Wii_Remote_.22Wiimote.22

I can just do it through dolphin.

But again, I can't get anything to happen.

Help!
Are you able to connect it to a real wii? Buying a controller like that off of ebay is probably going to get you one of poor quality. You can also try bluetooth passthrough:

I haven't tried a real wii as I don't own one.

I tried bluetooth passthrough and it worked via Dolphin. The buttons at least. Couldn't move. So I ordered a motion censor.

Is it not being detected via regular blue tooth because it's not official Nintendo?

I also regret not getting one with Motion Plus. ugh!

Most likely.
Dammit.

But I guess it's just as well since passthrough better?
Yeah, if you have Bluetooth passthrough working and you have a sensor bar (NOT the DolphinBar), then that's the most accurate setup you can get.

I got this. Would it work? https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/2ngAAOSwvEhcUeUy/s-l500.png
I can't really tell anything about that product other than that it looks like a sensor bar, but it'll probably work. A normal sensor bar is a very simple piece of hardware and there isn't much that can go wrong with it.

According to them it will work.
So I got a motion censor. Is there a best position to place it? I feel the bottom of the monitor works best. Also I feel I have to point more to the censor than the screen to get it working. Is this normal?
