i was trying to play guitar hero with drums but i dont have any drums so used a keyboard for a kick pedal and another keyboard for the cymbals and toms but some song needs a double bass drum pedal so my idea was to have two keyboards with the space bar as the kick pedal and use that but when if i press space on a keyboard and my other foot isnt off the other keyboard then the input doesn't count because the space bar is held down

Windows treats all keyboards plugged into your computer as one keyboard, so you'll have to setup a modifier key of some sort for the double kick pedal. Like if you hold shift and then press space it does a double kick or something.
