Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I'm trying to use the pointer emulation profile that comes with newer builds (currently on 12722 on Arch Linux with a portable build) and I'm confused on how to actually pair my Wii Remote. If I don't use my bluetooth manager (bluetoothctl) to pair then I can connect with Real Wii Remote setting in the controller settings. However, regardless of if I let bluetoothctl pair or not, I can't use the Emulated Wii Remote paired with a real Wii Remote, it just says it's not connected at Bluetooth/0/Wii Remote

Alright I figured it out, you need to pair the controller with just Dolphin as a real Wii Remote then switch to emulate
