Dear All, any ideas to solve these two problems :

->The second player is always activated at start.
It is not a real problem with SMG1, the orange P2 star disappear after some inactive time but on SMG2 I'm stuck on a splash information screen about cooperation mode and waiting for player 2 press A button. Any way to disable this P2 or why is it appearing... ? When emulator start is seems detected the keyboard has another controller for SMG/SMG2.

->My other problem is that when I move mario using stick 1 and I want to move the star cursor using the stick 2, the stick 2 is not working. If stick 1 is not moving, the stick 2 works. I can't use the 2 sticks in same time in fact.

If you do not want a second Wii remote to be active set Wii Remote 2, 3, and 4 sources to "None" in the "Controllers" dialog.

Consider using a recent version of Dolphin. 5.0 is over 4 years old.

Simultaneous sticks not working is unusual.
Which controller are you using?
Show screenshots of your emulated Wii remote configuration.

I've desactivate the controller and this solve the problem thank you.
But I don't really want to solve this like that because I would like to be able to play other multi games without having changing this "general" option each time. Do you know if we can set a "no other controler" in game personal configuration in the ini file ?

I've add only :

WiimoteProfile1 = SMG

I'm using the last version 5.0-12483 I think, sorry I've not put all numbers Wink

I'm using a xboxoneelite controler, I've attached some screeshots. I've no idea why sticks are not working in the same time. I will try with another xbox pad.

Should disable the 2nd remote. (Yes 1 is the second remote)

You have a "Hide" mapping under "Point" which is going to hide the pointer when moving the left stick. Remove it.

The wiimote source option fix the P2 problem in SMG1 (the 2P icon not appears at start), it is nice nut unfortunatly in SMG2 this is not the case Sad I'm still stuck at start, it is possible to play the intro but after the first save.

Regarding the simultaneous use of the sticks, the problem is still there even if I desactivate the option. Sad
any other idea ?

Hi, following your idea I've finally add
WiimoteSource1 = 0
WiimoteSource2 = 0
WiimoteSource3 = 0
and this solve the P2 issue in SMG2 too !
So anybody has ideas why the two sticks are not working in the same time with dolphin ?
Have you removed the "Hide" mapping?
Show new screenshots of every tab of your Wii remote configuration or upload your WiimoteNew.ini.

You haven't cleared the "Hide" mapping under "Point".
"IR/Hide" in the ini file.
