The "Yaw-" values are the approximate orientation of the remote computed from gyroscope data and corrected with accelerometer and sensor bar data.
Don't worry about them.

I don't know why everything is so jumpy for you. I have one of those "2in1" off-brand remotes and it works fine here.

I made my own sensor bar, bought infrared leds, and the pointer works great.
Then happily launched Skyward Sword, to see the best game of all times... just to realize it doesn't use the sensor bar, but relies completely on gyro for pointing
So I must resolve it somehow.

OK, so, I am a software developer myself with many years of experience. I guess with your guidance I might manage to fix it if it is possible to fix it.
Tell me, if you had this wiimote right next to you, how would that help you to debug it, what would you do, to find out what's wrong?

One more thing to mention, I saw mentions of "bluetooth stack" often, but I am clueless on what it means. I don't have any bluetooth stack installed on my PC. I am running Windows 10 x64. I actually tried installing Bluesoleil bluetooth stack, but my bluetooth didn't work at all with it, no device could connect, so I didn't try much and immediately uninstalled it.

And I researched a bit, and found external articles out of Dolphin, of people writing how they set up BT passthrough with wiimotes on dolphin, but I still can't put my finger on it, how exactly does it help people, and why would someone need it.
My next thought was to try install that Zadig on my Windows, and see what happens.

1. Could you give me some tips on what I can try, as a software developer, with the wiimote in my hands, on how could I debug it myself?
2. Do you think installing some Bluetooth Stack, and using that BT passthrough thing could help me?

It sounds like you are using the the standard Windows Bluetooth stack. It's less horrible than it used to be. I wouldn't bother with BlueSoleil.
The remote is just crappy. I wouldn't bother debugging it.

Bluetooth passthrough bypasseses the OS Bluetooth stack to communicate with the Bluetooth hardware directly.
It should work with any Wii remotes (even offbrand ones) that work with a real Wii. (Assuming your BT adapter is supported)

The Wii sends a handful of semi-unusual commands to the Bluetooth hardware to tweak Wii remote connection parameters.
These commands cannot be sent when using your OS Bluetooth stack. Luckily genuine Wii remotes work without them.. mostly..
Offbrand Wii remotes can have more trouble. Bluetooth passthrough allows them to work like on a real Wii.

I wanted to share to you how I got it working. In short, installing Zadiq and its bluetooth drivers, and then using bluetooth passthrough from dolphin did the magic.
I ordered new wiimote from aliexpress - those chinese imitation knockoffs. So this is my second wiimote from aliexpress.

The two behaved quite differently.
With the first I could use the option "Real Wiimote" or "Emulated wiimote". The wiimote worked immediately, without any bluetooth drivers installing. No Zadiq, no toshiba bluetooth stack, no bluetooth passthrough. nothing. Just the usual Bluetooth Join network and add new device.

However, my new wiimote, my 2 pc's with separate bluetooth dongles, both of them couldn't recognize the wiimote. It's like it didn't exist at all.
Just to note, my first wiimote was recognized as rvl-cnt-01. It didn't have -TR at the end.
I guess this second wiimote I got has that -TR in its name. However, none of my computers ever recognized it so I can see its name.
So I followed the procedure from dolphin, on how to set up Bluetooth passthrough. In short, you need to install Zadiq, qith the libusbk drivers, and you can no longer use that bluetooth usb dongle for any other bluetooth devices. Its like your pc doesn't have bluetooth anymore. But Dolphin can recognize it.

However, syncing dolphin with the wiimote is a huge pain. Sometimes I have to keep pressing the red sync button next to the batteries, for 1 minute, sometimes 3 minutes, but sometimes even after 5 minutes I still can't get it to connect. Although it will connect to it eventually. And no, I don't have many Wifi/bluetooth devices in my room, there shouldn't be any disturbance.

And now, with this bluetooth passthrough, I no longer get the weird behavior of the wii cursor. Even without infrared sensor bar, just from using the simulated gyro movements, the curson moves perfectly.

Biliard26, any thoughts on this?

From using bluetooth passthrough, can I see somewhere in the logs, what is the name of this bluetooth device wiimote? I am curious if it has -TR in its name.

What you say doesn't really make sense.
Using Bluetooth passthrough prevents Dolphin from simulating a sensor bar from gyro data and as far as I know every game other than Skyward Sword needs a sensor bar for pointing.

I tested only two games:
1. Zelda Twilight princess: this uses infrared sensor bar, and worked great before, and still works great.

2. Zelda Skyward Sword: I went through all this trouble of ordering a second wiimote and playing with bluetooth drivers just to play this game. I can confirm it works... I am confused that you say BT passthrough doesn't support gyro cursor... But I tried this specifically in Skyward sword.. it simply works, wjth both of my wiimotes, using bluetooth passthrough. Before with the options of Real wiimote or Emulated wiimote, it didn't work, as I showed you in my videos from my screen

Bluetooth passthrough doesn't support Dolphin's ability to simulate the IR cursor using accelerometer+gyroscope data. Skyward Sword is unique in that it doesn't actually use the IR cursor, but rather natively uses accelerometer+gyroscope data for its cursor.

So, basically: If you are using Bluetooth passthrough and the game requires a sensor bar, then you need to use a sensor bar. Other than that, there is no problem with the cursor when using Bluetooth passthrough.
