Make sure you have the correct cheats for your region of the game. For example, cheats for the PAL version of Mario Sunshine will not work with the North American version. Also, make sure cheats are enabled in the settings too.

I did. I'm using codes from the wiird site if that makes any difference. Not working at all for me.

These are Gecko codes correct? The game you're trying to use them with is a Wii game?

Yep. Cheats work pretty well for the most part.

I tried them on Super Mario Sunshine and Punch Out. They are Gecko codes. I have been putting them in the ActionReplay area like in my screenshots. I can't find ActionReplay codes, only the gecko ones from the wiird site.
I have done everything you guys say to do but nothing works.

sorry, I forgot to add, yes, one is a GC game and the other Wii.
If anyone could please try some code for Super Mario Sunshine and Punch Out so I can see what I am doing wrong, I would appreciate it very much.
I don't use cheats to cheat per say, I use them because it makes the game do something it wasn't designed for. Like a hack, and it's fun!

Try the action replay codes from here:
https://etherealgames.com/action-replay-code-index/gcn/ . I use them with my Gamecube games and they work quite well. Also, keep in mind that some codes may not work anyway. For example, the infinite hover and shoot spray codes work with Mario Sunshine but, the infinite water tank code does not.
