Full Version: Can't get past "Connect WiiMotion Plus" screen when booting up Skyward Sword

Hi there,

I'm trying to play Skyward Sword with Dolphin 5.0 and I was hoping to eventually use a downloaded config that allows the game to be played with an Xbox One controller as shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUBHQhj5...dex=2&t=0s

However I cannot seem to even be able to get past the "Connect WiiMotion Plus" screen when loading up Skyward Sword and Dolphin 5.0 doesn't seem to allow me to enable WiiMotion Plus in anyway in the settings. I've read that WiiMotion Plus functionality exists in Dolphin 3.5 but for some reason I cannot get this to work on my PC. Also I want to avoid actually purchasing a WiiMotion Plus setup as I'd rather play the game with my Xbox One Controller.

I'm just wondering can somebody provide me a solution to this issue?

Any helpful advice would be appreciated!

Kind regards
Just to make sure, are you using 5.0 stable, or a newer version of Dolphin? 5.0 stable doesn't support MotionPlus emulation.

Hi,

Thanks very much for your reply.

At the time that I made this thread originally I was actually using the stable 5.0 version but I have since downloaded "5.0-11991".

Due to using the different version I was able to get passed the "Connect WiiMotion Plus" screen but now I'm trying to figure out how do I install the Xbox One controller as shown in this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUBHQhj5...tw&index=2

As you can see in the description of the Youtube video the guy has included a link to the custom Xbox One controller that he has created here: http://bit.ly/2lVPrCQ

Basically after downloading the file from the link provided there is a "configuration setting" file entitled "Skyward_Sword_Xinput". I'm just wondering what do I do with this file? I've already tried putting this file in this directory: CBig Grinocuments\Dolphin Emulator\Config

But it doesn't seem to do anything. Just wondering could you indicate what I am to do with that config file?

Thanks!

It probably needs to be in ...Config\Profiles\Wiimote
