never heard of anyone running 64bit os on a 1gig ram system...
id stick with xp with that low ram. w7-64x will probably use up most of that 1gig and the games/other programs wont have anything left
if you get 2gig ram then upgrade to a 32bit win7.
4gig, then go for 64bit.
