I have 100mbit/s down and youtube is still a piece of crap. So you're not missing out on much.
It seems their allocated uplink speed is almost always 20-80kbps per user, during the day. In the worst case even less if many people are online -> video is streaming slower than it plays.
Some popular world cup 2010 vids were streaming at like 4kb/s according to network monitor, I just gave up watching ,lol.
Yeah youtube only loads like 20% of the vid and then it going slow as hell

.

Here's my ISP Unlimited scheme. I am using BB Home UL 750 (Rs 750 per month)

What I am trying to get is a 2 Mbps connection which is limited to 50 MB per day. I think that's enough for browsing this forums and for social networking. For consideration, any help....????

Man, those prices and speeds in India are a rip off. :-\ I searched more indian sites though and they're all the same. Here's a 2mb plan I came across from Airtel that isn't horribly overpriced.
http://www.airtel.in/wps/wcm/connect/airtel.in/airtel.in/home/forme_newuser/broadband+and+fixed+Line/broadband/tariffs/
It's 2mbps, costs 1300 rupees per month (about 25 bucks). The upside is that the data transfer is unlimited so you wouldn't have to worry about crappy limitations like 50mb per day. It's worth the extra cash IMO, if I were in that situation.
You don't know what Rs 1300 means.....That's just TOO much...
Well anyways I can't use Airtel because I don't have Airtel Mobile....(I had it 5 years ago). I can use USB data card, but it too expensive than this. Atleast Rs.2000. I can get 3G cheaper than that...:p. (Yeah India got it recently). Well then, I have to use 2 Mbps Night Unlimited.....All downloads at night...From 0200-0800 IST or 2030-0230 GMT...That's $10 per month...or Rs. 500.........
Well, I tried searching cheaper alternatives, but it would be necessary to know the city (since different states and cities in India have very different pricing scenarios).
Does your city have wimax connections available? Those can reach upwards or 1-2mb/s, have unlimited data transfer, and cost about 750 rupees/mo.

Mine city is the smaller one...Its Kota. My IP address refers to Jaipur, which is approx 200 km from here. Nearest Cosmopolitan city is Delhi, which is approx 400 Km from here....
Wiimax is in its initial trial stage...So it has to go to long way...:/.
Then I have very limited options in front of me. Either stick with this, use Night Plan, use other Provider(that's next to impossible) and use a cable net....I don't know what to do..
And 50 MB is not the Day's limit. There is a revision I forgot t mention....
Monthly upload/download limit during paid usage is 2.5 GB and night is unlimited....:p That's BBG FN 500
If I cross my limit of monthly usage, i will be charged Rs. 0.60 per exceeded MB....That's not a deal, as I will rarely exceed it...

I'm still hoping if you want to improve your broadband connection, because .14mbps is actually very low. You can change your broadband to Orange.
Orange was a lame company here and lost its existance within an year....I can only use BSNL...that's my only limitation, both connectively and financially...
