I want to play Smash with my sister with my 2 xbox controllers but for some reason one of them keeps being able to control both controllers and the other just doesn't work. In the controller settings (picture below) I can't change it to XInput/1/Gamepad which would seem to fix the issue.

Are the xbox 360 controllers or xbox one controllers? Are you trying to connect over USB, Wireless adapter, or Bluetooth? What version of Windows 10 are you running (aka 1709, 1803, 1809, 1903, 1909)?
