Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hey there, 
I wanted to ask you guys whether anybody can help me with a problem. During the game Wii Sports Resort [PAL] I encounter an annoying thing. 

There's some kind of lens flare likely texture mirroring in the top left corner that takes about 1/4 of the screen. It only appears during gameplay. 
I also encountered this in Mario Kart Wii. What's causing this effect? Any ideas how to fix that? 

Playing on Vulkan, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.

Well,
it seems like the setting "ignore format changes" needs to be deactivated in order work correctly.
Another way seems to be disabling the fog so the rectangle gets "invisible", but i kinda like the fog so I'd rather deactive the first setting I mentioned in order to make it work correctly.
Is that a good idea or are there any other ways of solving that issue?

If turning off Ignore Format Changes fixes it, that's probably the best solution.

Ignore Format Changes is a hack, so having it off will be the correct way to solve this.
