Hello there!
There´s a number of threads about poor performance while using Vulkan and Android 10....Well, yesterday my phone got the infamous update and it is as bad as people paint it, OpenGL got a little faster but Vulkan got less than half the speed it had before.
I do understand that´s a known issue but i would like to know if this can or will be fixed from Dolphin side or if it is one of those things that only aphone update would do.
Thank you
Definitely download the newest development/hightly build of dolphin from official site. There was a fix recently for Android 10.

This fix is also included in the latest version of Google Play. But apparently it didn't bring the performance back to the previous levels, even though it did make the performance a bit better.

I just try the latest Dolphin-Emu version on my android oreo build and vulkan is terrible, does the driver address change on latest merge?
Dolphin-Emu 9.x builds running really good on my phone

I'm not sure what you mean by this.
Tried the latest one, it really is faster but as said not as fast as it was before.
God to know that it can and is being fixed from Dolphin side because it would be a pain to wait for updates on OS.
Can You guys go into developer options of your phone (tap and version/build number in menu several times) and look for options. Does your android UI use vulkan? Maybe toggling there some switches helps? Vulkan backend was advertised for Andoid Q. What if it interferes witch each other.
Android in previous version Was also changing and depreciating some 2D rendering techniques. Is it possible to use different presentation way on screen? i know some apps had struggled with drawing on screen.
I have no device to test unfortunately.

Renderer is OpenGL Standard

Wonder if any other vendor has ability to switch from Opengl to Angle.
if the vendor drivers are correctly/updated, companies which develop the specific games
they can add Vulkan option over Opengl in game settings as they have full game developer documentation..
About Developer Options on the Android Devices.
for the moment the only GPU Renderer
OpenGL (Default Driver device Vendor)
OpenGL (Skia) which developed by google and the driver version is kinda old..
