Hello
I'm currently playing Skyward Sword, and I have trouble with my wiimote and nunchuck
First, the nunchuck, it is way too sensible
In SS, you need to shake both nunchuck and wiimote laterally or vertically to do a spin attack
Well, when I shake the woomote only to do a regular attack, Link does a spin attack, without me shaking the nunchuck

Also, the wiimote, when I try to do a vertical slash with the sword (tilting the wiimote vertically) it does an horizontal one
When I try an horizontal slash, it does a diagonal one

So yea, is there a way to recalibrate my wiimote?
Early thanks for help Smile
Ok, now it's getting really annoying
I had my Link on a rope where we must tilt the wiimote right or left to keep him balanced
But, in my cas, no matter how much I was tilting right, he was always falling on the left side

Seriously, is there a way to recalibrate my wiimote?
Also, as I said, the nunchuck is way way way too sensible
I'm not even shaking it, just holding it in my hand, it was making Link do a shield strike
And very often, when I tilt my wiimote only to make a sword slash, it triggers a spin attack, which occures when tilting both wiimote and nunchuck

Please help Sad
What wiimote/nunchuk are you using (Original/3rd party/-TR/etc)? Do you have an IR sensor bar?

Hello
yes it's a third party wiimote, all what's wrirtten on it is "NEW 2in1"
Because it has integrated motion plus
I don't see any brand name

As for the sensing bar, yes I have one
Does the cursor function normally on menus other than the initial one that want's you to point the wiimote at the screen? Is your wiimote forward on that screen? SS will use IR to try to silently recalibrate the wiimote afaik. There is also an ingame recalibration for the wiimote.

A nunchuck shouldn't need to be calibrated. Maybe your issues could be from a poor bluetooth adapter, but I think your nunchuck is probably just malfunctioning.

So you say trying anothewr nunchuck might fix the problem?
I'll first try to find another nunchuck and I'll let you know if it works,
thanks
The "NEW 2in1" Wii Remote I have (purely for testing purposes) is absolute garbage.
I am not aware of any tools to recalibrate Wii remotes but even ignoring calibration problems, the sensors in this remote seem to have random delays and are just horrible in general.
I suggest buying a genuine Wii remote.

oh really?
Well I have other wiimote here, I'll try with others and see if it's better
thanks

It should just work. Try plugging/unplugging the motion+ and/or nunchuck or try bluetooth passthrough.
