Full Version: Possible to get widescreen on GC startup animation?

When the widescreen hack is enabled, it's applied globally, no matter what is running. As for why the IPL stretches with Super Mario Strikers but not Paper Mario TTYD, I'm not sure, but could be related to Paper Mario TTYD GameINI enforcing "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only", "Immediately Present XFB" and "Disable Bounding Box" options to disabled.

And by the way, Super Mario Strikers is currently listed on the wiki as a game with native widescreen support. Why exactly are you enabling Widescreen Hack on it?

True. But you can disable this in game inis and that's what I' m doing whenever I run in to a game that has a better solution.

I just randomly selected two games that had the different behaviour.
