Is there any way to fix this yellow tint?

I know that this happens on the GC version of Need for Speed Carbon and the Wii version of NFS ProStreet on Huawei, Honor, Nokia and Samsung devices.

And it happens when the screen shows any car except police and traffic with headlights turned on.

I've found a lot of conflicting footage on devices that have and don't have this error in the game, so I need some information. Please answer all of these! What device did you take this screenshot from? What SoC is in your device (snapdragon, exynos, etc)? Also what version of Dolphin precisely are you encountering this on?

Huawei Honor 8 FRD-L09, Kirin 950.
This graphical bug happens on any Dolphin version.

You can't possibly have tested every version of Dolphin. Could you write down the version numbers of the Dolphin builds that you've tested (or if you don't remember them all, at least a few of them)? We especially need to know what the latest version that you have tested is.

I tested the last 200 (!!!) (two hundred) builds and the graphics in the GCN version of NFS Carbon are still yellow.
The Wii version of NFSC does not have that bug.

P.S. Did somebody play this game on GC without that yellow graphics bug using a device different from Xiaomi, Meizu, LeEco, OnePlus?
Testing the "last 200 builds" isn't useful in this case. That's goes back what, from a month or two ago? Not much has changed in that span, especially on Android. You need to go back a few *thousand* to even begin to get useful data! We have all of the builds here on our website, so just go way back to like, picking a random old one, 5.0-2505 or something, and give it a try. That should be significantly different and may behave differently!

So give that one a try and tell us how it behaves.

Note that any of your savestates won't work so, don't use those. Use proper in-game saves. That's kind of just smart as a routine since they are regularly invalidated due to core changes, but for testing like this it is a must.

I tested that alpha version. Carbon works the same as on the newest version. Seems that my Honor 8 FRD-L09 with Kirin 950 runs NFS Carbon (GC, not Wii) with that stupid yellowness on any build. Any other fixes?

So it seems to just be more Mali GPU driver problems. I wanted to make sure you tested an old version to see if it was related to us removing some hacks recently-ish, but since it didn't change, it's probably just more of Mali being sucky. If you want to double check you can try something even older, like say, 5.0-9 (as old as I'd recommend trying), but since 5.0-2505 didn't show any difference, I bet 5.0-9 is going to be the same or worse (likely black cars and whatnot, though I don't know how much of that is from the even worse old drivers in the videos of that time).

We've talked about it a few time in the Progress Report, but Mali is especially bad when it comes to GPU driver support. It has lots of missing and or broken features, and they kind of just don't care. Even Adreno performs much better these days. We can't really do anything about a driver not doing what they are supposed to do, so, yea.

This ninth build even crashes when starting the race. And there's no option to disable JIT follow branch.

Any other fixes for the yellowness in NFSC GCN?

If you already tried switching between OpenGL and Vulkan video backends and the problem persisted, there's nothing you can do other than hope for your phone manufacturer to release a firmware update for it with better GPU drivers...
