So I recently got a hold of my old Wii, did a NAND backup and an SD Card backup, and I wanted to try launching some VC titles from the SD Card Menu, emulating my old Wii on Dolphin. The result for any game is always "Failed to launch." These titles do work on my old Wii.
Am I doing something wrong? Does Dolphin not like the Wii SD Card Menu?
It should be possible to get it to work. If you go to Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Wii, is there a file called keys.bin?

Yes, there is. Oh wait, should I delete that one and replace it with my NAND's dump?
It needs to be the one from your NAND dump. But if there is one in there already, I don't know where it could've come from other than your NAND dump.

Well, none of the titles are booting even with my keys.bin. And yes, I figured It had to be my NAND's since I imported it, after all.
I did some further experimentation; deleting titles works, but the transfer/copy operations from SD to NAND always fail. To my knowledge, there's no write protection anywhere. I however did read somewhere that the contents of my SD need to exist outside of sd.raw, but where should I put them?
No, the contents of the SD only need to be in sd.raw.
Copying from SD to NAND failing points towards the NAND's keys not matching the keys that were used when writing to SD, or the NAND not containing the necessary ticket for the title, but I don't see how either of those could be the case based on the information you've posted.

I did some further experimentation now that I have time:
-Copying a title from NAND to SD works.
-Transfering said title from NAND to SD also works.
-Launching said title from SD always fails. This happened on a new sd.raw and the old one.
-Transfering said title from SD always fails. Both on a new sd.raw and and the old one.
Could this be an IOS bug? Maybe my copy of dolphin or the NAND is missing some?
I managed to launch one title, but the big caveat is that the title needs to exist both in the NAND and the SD to be usable on the SD card menu. No idea what exactly is causing this.
If you at first have the title in both the NAND and the SD, and then delete it from the NAND, are you able to launch it from the SD immediately afterwards?
