Can anyone help me here? I have been using Dolphin on Windows but not on macOS before, and I keep encountering random beachballs just when changing some settings or opening a game directory for example.

Also when ever I enter my applications folder the Dolphin.dmg just appears on my desktop for no reason.

Are there fixes for these? Thanks

It might help if you explained what beachballing is. I Googled it and just found the ball you take to the beach.

It means that the program isn't responding. macOS turns the cursor into a spinning wheel that looks a bit like a beach ball when that happens.
