Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi All,

I know this has been answered a couple of times on other threads, but it appears things have changed since the last time it was answered.

I'm currently running Mac OS Mojave (10.14.6) MBP 2018 15"

I understand that I am in the minority here but none-theless I've purchased a NGC - USB Adapter and I'm running Dolphin on Mac.

I've confirmed that the 4x controllers that I purchased + adapter work just fine on a nintendo switch in "Wii U" mode.

I've tried installing the .kext file to no avail in Safe Mode.

Any other suggestions?

Sorry are you saying that the gamecube controller won't work at all, using the 4 port adapter? Your post is a bit vague.
I am on Mojave 10.14.6 also.. what version of Dolphin are you actually using?

You're using it in Wii U mode on your computer, right? That's the mode Dolphin uses when you set it to look for the GCN adapter.

Glad to hear you've gotten it working. Apologies for being unclear here. 

Controllers all work, which I've validated with a Nintendo switch. (In Wii-U Mode) 
As Does the Adapter. 

I'm using Dolphin on 10.14.16 (Version 5.0-10916)
