Hi. I'm currently using a USB Xbox 360 controller with Dolphin. The joystick is too sensitive which makes precise aiming very difficult--it either doesn't move or it moves too fast. I recall I also had this problem on the Project 64 emulator, and I even notice it in the "Test" tab of the controller's properties in Control Panel. Is pressing the button assigned to the modifier the only workaround?

I figure this is a common problem, but I don't know if there is any better solution for it...

Here.
Calibrate both of your sticks using the "Calibrate" buttons.
Your lack of calibration will produce oversensitivity with typical controllers.

Ok, I did that, but it really doesn't seem to resolve the issue. Aiming is just as difficult.
Which game? Can you adjust the sensitivity in the game?

Twilight princess. I don't think there is a way to adjust sensitivity in that game, but I really think everything I play has the sensitivity issue. As I said, I even notice the problem in the "Test" tab of the controller's properties in Control Panel. The "+" cursor seems to move too abruptly.
Okay. So it's just your controller I guess?

You would think so, but I've had the exact same issue with a different controller: a PS2 controller with USB adapter. And since using that controller, I've even changed computer and operating system (Windows Vista to Windows 10).

You can right click on the assigned buttons and set the range (=sensitivity) of your joystick. Default should be 100. Try Mainstick 70 and C-Stick 60. For some reason I can´t save these settings tho. Can anyone tell me why?
