I got the same flashing issue along with lower average frame rates as before.

It seems there have been quite some fixes and performance improvements recently: Improving performance of the V3D compiler for OpenGL and Vulkan | Developer Log (igalia.com)
Maybe interesting for a new test round?
Is there a good guide to setting up Dolphin on the Pi4?  My other attempts have all been prebuilt but I'd like to do my own clean install.
I think you can use this guide and follow the Ubuntu instructions: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Building_Dolphin_on_Linux
Though I don't have any experience building on Linux.
I tried to install the latest dolphin from git. I can't run any game because there is always showing an error about OpenGL support.

I already tried with the solution

Code:
nano ~./config/dolphin-emu/GFX.ini

Find this -> [Settings]

Under it type this
PreferGLES = True

hit CTRL + X
hit Enter

but it didn't help. Seems like something's messed up :/

any help please?

Everytime I re-build it it seems there's a new class of requirements that are needed. Can I take it that you were able to build Dolphin from source without errors? (not sudo apt-install dolphin-emu which installs an ancient version)? Can you screenshot the error?

If I get some spare time I can pull out the pi and attempt a fresh install again I've been waiting on the pi foundation to finish up Vulkan and roll it into the default mesa on the pi but if there's been some significant changes it doesn't hurt to play with re-building it again.
Thank you for your answer...I reinstalled the whole OS and then it started to magically work Smile

I did some testing videos running Dolphin with latest MESA drivers....

U can check the some videos here:
Raspberry Pi 4 - Raspberry Pi OS 64bit - Dolphin emulator

I also wrote a tutorial (some of the code is taken from you) how to install latest mesa drivers and Dolphin:
Dolphin emulator running on RP4B OS 64bit

And finally I came to conclusion that PI4 is just not powerful enough to run Dolphin on decent level....might be a bit better when Igalia finishes optimizing Vulkan driver....

Maybe we will have more luck with Raspberry Pi 5...
MK WII was quite fluent with opengl. Was the fps right?

New driver, New feature: Geometry shaders.

While open source driver initiatives are awesome unless they surpass the development of the official driver I don't think it'll end up helping Dolphin performance.
