JMC47: Thanks for you help on this.
I did install usbdk in the past and went through great pains to fully uninstall it, short of reinstalling Windows. However, it is always possible something stayed behind.
I tried the build you linked above but it produces the same result as the recent builds with the problem.
I'm just wondering: does this also happen with a clean Wii firmware? e,g, make a portable install of Dolphin and update the firmware from the menu. Just asking as I've seen nobody mention it at all and because with Bluetooth passthrough the emulated software is responsible for the driver it could mean something is broken in your Wii firmware? I'm just putting it out there, maybe it is that simple Smile that there wasn't an introduced bug, but a corrupted Wii firmware that gets exposed thanks to more accurate emulation?

That was a good lead but unfortunately, that is not the problem. I went portable and only changed wiimote to bluetooth passthrough, with no other changes in settings. I tested as is and got the black screen on my second consecutive game load. I then had dolphin update my system menu and the same happened.
Whatever it is does not seem to be caused by corrupt IOS's or other system files.

hi themanuel:
I'm having the same issue where upon subsequent game launches using BT passthrough, it'd show a black screen. I have to force close it from Task Manager to be able to launch a game, then the issue happens again.
I was using version 5.0-10551 with WinUSB.

However, using version 5.0-8898 I was consistently able launch games without having to re-launch Dolphin.

What could that mean? Did something in later versions "break" something? Or is something on our end messing up?

Just read the thread title and the first post. 5.0.10344 is the version that broke it while fixing other usb related issues.

Hi, there.  This PR seems to have screwed things for us.  It was integrated into the release Dime indicated.

Something is wrong with hyperlinks.
Here it is:

Does everyone having this problem have a GameCube adapter for wii plugged in? I found that I can get it to work if I either turn off pass through, or if I unplug the GameCube adapter. I saw a previous post from a couple years back where the GameCube adapter was the issue as well.
I don't. I only use bluetooth passthrough.

Same here - no Gamecube adapter.
