What are you trying to do? You shouldn't need to change any configs.

but thats it ^^||
also idk my computers specs honestly
saddly im not techy so rip me
but im using
Dolphin 5.0 right now
You can check your computer specs with something like
Speccy
Also you should try updating to the latest development version of dolphin.

okay
but i kinda found a fix for it now
^^||
(by messing with shift again ^^|| lol)
by going into
graphics and changing the
Intel® HD to
Microsoft Basic Render Driver....
only problem with that is it
makes the game real slow ^^|| so id have to
contently save and switch back and forth between the two
Adapters i guess...
unless
theres a better fix....

Hey you may need to do a few things to get the best performance out of your PC. 1. Go to control panel>System and Security>Power Options> Set to maximum performance. Now with that out of the way if you have a Nvidia Card Use OpenGL and start at 1x resolution and make your way up from there. Bounding box is the effect paper mario games use and they're really slow on Nvidia Cards. If you have AMD then you can use DX11,DX12,Vulkan. These settings mainly apply to the paper mario series as they use bounding box. Any other game AMD can use anything but OpenGL as they have slow drivers but Nvidia Cards can use any one. Also if you want a fresh dolphin install then delete the folder in documents. And yeah just boot the game up and don't touch anything. I recently played through TTYD (Thousand Year Door) And i can't recall having any crashes or slow down. And use the latest versions because 5.0 is years out of date. Remember! Clear your document folder this one time because you want a fresh install from 5.0 to 5.0-10325 which is the latest as of today 5/28/19

That specific issue will be fixed by updating to the latest development version of Dolphin – you might possibly need to switch to OpenGL as well. (Like you say, switching to Microsoft Basic Render Driver does also work but is really slow. Updating Dolphin or changing graphics card is the only option that will let you run the game fast without that problem.)
