So I'm planning on getting super mario galaxy, but don't want to download before I get confirmed if my PC can handle the game at 1440p at atleast 60 fps.

My specs: i5 9600k (liquid cooled) AMD RX 580 16gb DDR4 3200mhz of ram. Dolphin 5.0 and Windows 10 pro 64bit
There are only a handful of GC/Wii games that run at variable framerates.

Most GC/Wii games will run at 30 or 60 frames. Any lower or higher will make the game too slow or too fast. This is unfortunately how emulation works for older consoles.

Anyways, yes your specs are more than sufficient. Use the latest development build for a more stable experience and since you have an AMD GPU, use Direct3D graphics backend.

I don't think downloading this game is allowed.
That is correct. I did not read the post closely enough.
