Hi.

Recently I buy the sgs10, with the sd versión and I Will try to play the dolphin emulator. My last Phone was an Sony Xperia premium that recognized the ps4 pad inmediatly. The problem is that with the sg I could recognise the ps4 gamepad but when I try to assign the buttons to the gamepad anithynk works. Must I download some apk or something special for use the ps4 gamepad?
What exactly is doing the other players for use an gamepad?

Thanks for the info.
Sony's smartphones include native support for PS3 and PS4 controllers. For non Sony devices you'll need a third party app. I think sixaxis was the app for that.

I have visited the veb, and read root needed, is there some other aplication?

Or better wich gamepad use the people that play with the phone and upload the videos.

Tanks for your help
Well, Galaxy S10 shipped from factory running Android Pie, which is supposed to have native support for DualShock 4. How exactly are you pairing the controller?

I go to the Bluetooth option and found my gamepad. The when I go to the emulator for mapping the buttons it doesn't recognized them. I can pus all bottons and nothing will happen.

Wery strange

Pd with the ipega gamepad all works great
Um, I just noticed something. Is your DualShock 4 controller the first revision (that launched with PS4 "fat") or the second revision (that launched with PS4 Slim, where you can also see the light bar from a small cutout on the touchpad)?

The mapping file referenced on the XDA news I linked seems to target only the old DualShock 4, and if you have the new revision I'm afraid there's no rootless solution to this on Android Pie (other than using a Xperia phone)...

Thanks for the info. May be this is the problem.

Now my question is that there are some apk that not needed root acces and help the user to remap the gamepad, wich one could be the best option. Os is it better to buy some ipega gamepad?
Well, since you already have a DualShock 4, I would investigate more to see if there's really no rootless solution before buying another controller (perhaps asking on Galaxy S10 subforum on XDA Developers?), especially considering the DualShock 4 is more robust and more feature-packed than any Ipega offering...
