so I'm running the 4838 build 64 bit for TOG. Everything works pretty well, but typically in cities/cutscenes, the framerate will drop down to like 16, and that makes it a bit hard and troublesome to play....does anyone know of any fixes? I have everything laid out there, but is it possible that my computer can't handle it?

specs: amd athlon ii x2 250 (3.0ghz dual core)
ati radeon 4850 512mb
8gb ddr3 1333mhz

Your spec is more or less same as mine and I usually have 45 FPS min in cutscene, I recommend :
Using x64 build.
Use D3D plugin with :
- EFB to texture hack -> this one option improve speed greatly

try it. Wink
so, theres no way to play this game with spellforces' latest 5038-SSE3 version? I tried it but it goes black screen before the very first cut-scene.
with the "dolphin 4838 for tales of graces"-version it runs just fine and goes past that scene.
hm to bad, version 5038SSE3 has much better graphic configuration...
I agree, maybe we can ask him to make one?
http://www.mediafire.com/?rlmm21dmnkr 5053 x64 SSE3 for tales of graces
http://www.mediafire.com/?4xytnn2lzxu 5053 win32 SSE3 for tals of graces

there will be no anime cut scene, sorry for that I can't fix it now because of new JIT,JITIL system.

this svn I reduce slowdown of svn 5034,5038 by using only some part of hash check,if you still feel some slowdown you may want to try disable 'safe texture cache'
I also fix sound hope it may work.
thanks spellforce.
I think I'll go with version 4838 right now because of the anime cut scenes.

btw:
I get occasional freezes here and there in version 4838 (in storydialogue, after battles etc...). any other one with that problem?
Its pretty frustrating and have to restart from the last save.
thats really game braking for me...

btw2:
whats the difference between "dolphin.exe" and "dolphinIL.exe"?

Here is my config. Can anyone give me a suggestion? Thanks!

okay, so I'm using the 4716 build for this, but for some reason, even though on the front page it says I should run it perfectly, I typically slowdown to as low as even 15fps. I followed all the different ideas and it still hasn't worked....and it's really difficult to play with such slowdown. is there a better build with all the cutscenes and everything?

It's possible that your hardware just can't handle it. What's your CPU/RAM/Video?

Btw, I got that random freeze problem too in 4838...it's frustrating too.
