I think it's something to do with setting it to Japanese thats not working.
(On a Wii you get some error there if you don't, but since I think Dolphin doesn't have that Internal Screen error all you see is a black screen)
to config
Set Wii /system language to japanese
try Software render

This works. I just got the game running in R4682 X64 by setting it to Japanese and Software rendering. To call it unplayable though would be an understatement

Getting 0.5 FPS on my i7 machine, but I guess that's to be expected in this video mode. Still, this is something!!
Edit: Also, it seems to freeze on the first screen if you have Dual Core enabled. It boots just fine for me when it's off.
It require Japanese boot language to work. maybe its an attempt to block importers so we can buy our own region versions. meaning there will be and English version after all.
anyways that difference between software render and other plug-ins being able to boot the Japanese boot may be of interest to the devs. someone should make an issue of it.
confirmed, it boots when system language changed to japanese, set to software renderer, and disabled dual core. But I only get 3-5 fps in intro movie, and 0.5 fps when entering game title, so it's most likely unplayable for now. This is the same as mysims racing.
Dual Core works for me, but it's still painfully slow.. 8 FPS~
Will carry on playing this on my Wii until this works with a "Good" Graphics plugin.
Yeah, we gotta wait. Oh well.
I tried it again, and yes, I can get passed the warning screen with dual core enabled. It's strange though, I couldn't before.
But it's extremely slow.
Anyway, it gives me black screen after intro when progressive scan enabled. but it works if disabled.
Yep. Gotta wait for better graphics plugins.
