As of rev 4762, the unpatched original dolphin is able to boot and play this game if you change the wii language option to Japanese, unfortunately the game freeze before loading the first animated scene, i.e. when you meet Sophie for the first time.

Shame as it is faster than the x86 build of Spellforce (I used the x64 version) attaining as high as 94 FPS on my system on the first few battle. Sad

But maybe someone who's further in the game could test if this is the only bug and no more exist on the later part of the game?
Can someone, using a copy with the Dev Room Save Flag, check if ALL videos are affected?

Shin

Dev room?
If you mean the cats room, then yea I've tired it and it freezes.

Sound now fucked up like was in spellforce's earlier builds.

Kiwi

Same Bugs happen to me. (freeze before loading the animated scene)
but the unpatched original dolphin is so fast in battle and map..

Maybe we need to Spellforce's new fix version.

Shin

Are the newer builds any better?
the newer revs are the same. infact they are 1-2 fps down. game is fast at the begining when there is just 2-3 characters. when you have 4 characters in battle its a bit slow with mid low range dual core cpus. Its just the state of the emu right now. Can't run every game at full speed with mid low dual core cpu. Thats how it is for me with my 2.3ghz core 2 duo cpu.
Is that with x64 version you test? And the newer unpatched rev can't even load a saved game and freeze during the half of the opening scene for me... ;_;

Dear SpellForce.

Your New Version(4790) works good and faster than previous Version in battle. I love it!

Thanks a lot SpellForce!

Dear SpellForce.
you can make 4790 x64 Blend ?
I think x64 faster than x32
Thank you SpellForce
he provides patches inside his builds. you can use them to make yourselves x64 versions.
