Hey guys,

I recently bought a Bliss-box (the all in one controllers adapter solution), and using it on dolphin.
In theory, the adapter should support native mode for the GC controller, to achieve a better input latency and more simple support, but it seems like it's not yet implemented in Dolphin.
Is there any plan to add the support to Dolphin the same way as the GC WiiU adapter?

I think you can find any info on that, along with the API codes here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/bliss-box-api/

Thanks Blush
There are no plans. The GC WiiU adapter is an official adapter made by Nintendo and others that all use the same interface.
The Bliss-Box is just some weird thing that happens to also work with GameCube controllers.
Blissbox supports GameCube Keyboard Controller though, I think? That's one reason to maybe support it in the future... but it sets a weird precedent working with third party adapters...
What if it was Ulao himself who implemented support? If the pull request appeared already completed and tested, would it get merged?
I see. As weird as this device can be, I still think that's an amazing all in one solution, not some cheap Chinese third party adapter Wink
It's still actively developed and has tons of support from its dev.

Of course I'm not part of the dev team so it's not my place to say what's worth to do or not.
I was just thinking it is sad to not have support on this one Tongue

Pretty sure it would... The most important thing here is: He would need to adhere to the exact code standards that the dev-team have set up, be willing to keep the code up to date and be available at "all times" to fix any bugs that would be encountered by users of the blissbox.

Note: this is only really a thing because they're absolutely going to be the only person to maintain something like this.

Which is a perfectly valid reason to reject a feature. Nobody wants to chain themselves to maintaining a very very niche thing else it gets removed in favor of having features that work.
Ok I understand that.
But then how and why the mayflash dolphinbar got supported?
Isn't it a weird unique device too?

Nope, it is basically a Wii Sensor Bar with a Bluetooth module build in... nothing more. Also there is basically only one use for it: Dolphin, hence the Dolphinbar (ok, CEMU now supports it too I think...)
