Which is why Dolphin's resolution controls won't cause them any problems!

3x IR will work fine with your monitor, Dolphin has never had an internal resolution for exactly 1920x1080 because it doesn't make sense to have that for a Wii. When in Widescreen, the Wii will stretch out the pixels to fit a widescreen monitor, so, the resolution is a bit wonky.
Thank you for the answers. I'll test it next week.
Want to buy ~55", 4:3, 8k, CRT Monitor. LOL, just dreaming...
If i remember correctly, there was a 2.5x resolution in a previous version of dolphin?

Well, thats weird. It never caused me any graphical issues. It just seems a little bit weird to play my games in something else than my monitors native resolution.

A lot of the well-known games that had problems with fractional IRs had a line in their game INI file that told Dolphin to automatically switch to an integer multiple IR when playing them. That's why you wouldn't notice the graphical issues in most games.
Fractional IRs could literally overwrite your savefile with out of bounds EFB writes.

We automatically disabled fractional IRs for you in games where they were known to cause issues. That's why you wouldn't notice most of the issues that fractional IRs cause.

By fractional IR, we mean any scale that is not an integer, such as 1.5x IR or 2.5x IR.
