Hey all, wish the original post could be updated as while it was a key resource when i was getting set up with my shield - it's woefully out of date!

For example - I've just completed Metroid Prime at 30% under clock with async shaders on and was an absolute blast... the only challenge was delays in loading some rooms / a slight delay in switching between weapons esp in the final boss... but honestly completely playable and now kicking off Prime 2 Smile

On the Wii front, I did in theory manage to get Metroid Other M working, but it's damn hard to calibrate a shield controller to mimic the way a wiimote worked on that game... so I can't confirm what gameplay was like beyond he first room...

Resident Evil 2 and 4 both working (some sound issues on re 2)

SSX 3 working

In fact at this point it's more about which games AREN'T working as almost everything GC has worked... The Sims 2, Simpsons Hit & Run being two culprits that won't load... and FZERO GX being the one that technically works, but is so slow it takes 6 minutes to do 1 min 30 of racing on the in-game timer...

Still waiting for the day Mario Galaxy and Wii titles can work as well as the official version released on the Chinese shield!
How can I add these settings easily to my dolphin.ini? Would be nice to I don’t have to for each individual game. Also, why is the working list for Wii empty?

Thanks!!
hi can these settings be used on a non-anroid tv device (anriod smartphone) to get a game that doesn't run,
like Harry pottwer and the prisoner of askaban to run?
as on android bulid any 5.0 this specific game won't even boot on startup.
maybe using an .ini file with these settings for this game will fix the issue?

thanx

I like the idea of a curated Shield TV (Pro) x Dolphin list, since I am a owner of the TV Pro 2019 since X-mas.
Is there any interest in creating an updated community driven version?
I would collect and create the list in the first few posts and just need the input by the community.
Any way you could bake this into the default Dolphin settings.ini?

The problem with this is, that some game need specific settings to make them run better.
If the interest would be there, the best idea is set the settings for every game. Add 16:9 + 60 FPS Patches, link a good texture pack etc.

I would definitely appreciate any game settings and tips that you've learned for the Shield Pro and Gamecube

Hello,

I'm a new user of Dolphin on a Nvidia Shield TV 2019.
I tried to follow this thread to get the best performance out of my device, but it seems like I don't understand everything...

First, it's said that for each game, there is specific options written in blue, but I don't see anything in blue (and I'm not colorblind, as far as I know Big Grin ).
Then, for some games (for example Mario Kart Double Dash), it's said to use AR code to activate 16/9 ratio, but there is absolutely nothing about how to activate this code.
For this particular point, I managed to find another topics with codes to use for each game, but there, no explanation at all on how to setup those codes...

So, is there a place to visit for a newbie who doesn't understand those things ?

Another questions, unrelated to this thread : I tried to add a textures pack for Mario Kart, but this made Dolphin crash as soon as the race start (it's a little bit better without the .ini file I got here, but still unplayable - running at about half of the normal speed). Do you know why ?

Thanks,

Joris
