Well thats not the same as what you said the first time around.
You said that all the RAM would be used if trying to emulate the wii in a wii.
Sorry I did not realise that there is not even any RAM left over after trying to run games.
No need to be a cunt about it though.
sorry I was just pissed for a minute when i posted that. I thought I had said run the first time not emulate so sorry about that. You would be angry too if you lost a days worth of pay playing black jack with friends
and why would you think that Nintendo didnt squeeze every single bit out of the console???
and if they didnt already, then games already try to squeeze every single bit of performance
no. ppc to x86 back to ppc is stupid, and two, the wii is already maxed out.

OMG I'm starting to think that most people have reading/comprehension problems.
Where did I say that they had not done this?
Consider at the time though that the platform was NEW, even though the coders were /are very experienced
If you yourself have done any coding, then you know that you could probably have coded your old apps a lot better given the additional knowledge and experience that you have gained since then. PLUS there is also the benefit hindsight.

Well recompiling it would have made more sense, I would have thought?
Anyway given the lack of powerful hardware in the wii, and the fact that it has probably already been heavilly optimised to some extent, I can see that its not really a feasible concept.

Ok. Now ya'll are just repeating each other.
Nuff said.
before accusing people of having comprehension problems, you need to get good ideas yourself before embarrassing your self.
I work as software engineer for a living, so thank you for the valuable advices, keep them coming.

Good for you. Do you want a cookie?

You still didn't answer my question?

Thanks for the "need to get good ideas" suggestion. I'll take that under advisement.
Uh, emu_enthusiast.
You claim we have reading comprehension problems, when at the same time you seem to acknowledge yet at the same time ignore the simple fact.
Even if it were feasibly possible to modify some files so that these "enhancements" could take place, it would obviously slow down the system appreciably, at best. The Wii outputs at a max 480p for a reason. A higher resolution/additional antialiasing/etc would cause a significant strain on its resources, namely its lack thereof.
I used a PC program once to make custom stages for Brawl, unlocking many features. I filled an entire *medium* size stage with pinwheels. The game ran at about half speed.
I then filled an entire *large* stage with pinwheels. The game reliably crashes.
Look the question was simple enough...
"Would it be possible? Yes/No."
That's all it called for.
Perhaps even an elaboration at to why.
Did not expect to get lol'd at, be told my thread "is silly", and that I'm "embarrasing myself".
I got my answer back on
Post #7
Now, to all the other people who have found it necessary to "contribute" to the thread by needlessly parroting the same answer whilst continuing to try and insult my intelligence. Well you can all have a good healthy dose of get fucked!!!

@Malurth,
You must be comprehension challenged too, because you clearly missed my acknowlegement that I understood that it was not possible, back in
Post #9.

MODs can you lock the damn thread already?
so all Nintendo Employees and all people on this forum have comprehension problem,
and you are our only hope with your drunk ideas,
please save us from our sober thinking
I only quoted that I am software engineer to reply to your "If you yourself have done any coding".
but back to the subject, the bios plays little part in the performance,
however The API's do affect the performance, so if Nintendo decided to improve them, then they might get more performance after last few years experience,
however that could break older games, and cause binary compatibility problems

Oh hey look, a literal reading comprehension failure.
I said "you seem to acknowledge yet at the same time ignore."
Not "you seem to be incapable of acknowledging."
Fact of the matter is, you were like "oh I guess it wouldn't be feasible" and then on every post thereafter continued to defend it all while throwing insults at people and generally acting like a douche.
The only reason everyone is reiterating themselves is because every time you seem to understand how you are wrong, you then back it up with telling people to go fuck themselves. Kind of getting mixed signals here.
